8x8 Review:
Their website promises: plug it in, one click and you're up and running. Not so much. Our phone was never up and running, even after our remote employee spent considerable time with them, and then even got an IT expert on the phone with their "technical support", if you can call it that. When we finally tried to cancel, after paying for nothing, they felt the need to add an extra $60 cancellation charge on. If you want to waste your time and money, call 8x8 today!

8x8 Review:
I have been using VoIP ever since it became available. I have tried them all. Packet 8 is the worst, I mean the worst. Your service gets interrupted and your business goes down. They don't care. It happens alot. The quality is terrible. I always know who is calling me from a packet 8. My secretary is smarter than the technicians over there. We had bad interference they couldn't solve. Turns out the power cord was bad. They let us have interference for 7 months while blaming the ISP.

8x8 Review:
8x8 is unwilling or unable to remedy the problem we experience with the Packet8-issued phone. The broadband phone needs to be reset periodically. The outages occur several times a month, requiring a reset of the equipment. We keep a paper clip right beside the phone for this purpose.
If we didn't experience this persistent problem, I would have no reason to look elsewhere for phone service. Packet8/8x8 is a feature-packed service at a reasonable rate.
Beware anyone who wishes to discontinue service, 8x8 terms and conditions require you to phone in your cancellation request. We sent them a registered letter stating our request and requesting to be contacted if further action were required. Just covering my bases, I called customer service several weeks prior to our contract expiration date (on which they will automatically renew with the credit card on file) only to learn that there was no record of our request. In the certified letter I requested to be contacted if further action were required. This request was ignored.

I am a former SunRocket customer and ended up going with 8x8 after SR went bankrupt. Phone service is poor even though I have 10 Mbps high speed cable and have verified the quality of serice to my home. Service provided by 8x8 is very poor.

I have been using their services over a year. Tested all the features, and by far it is the best hosted VOIP service in the market. I have used many others phone.com beats them in many ways. They also offer HD voice, user interface is much better. Service never went down for me. I also use ringcentral which is my second choice, but they are #1

I have been with 8x8 for 3 years and the quality of the service is excellent. I was a former Sunrocket customer who was happy with that service. I chose 8x8 for the reliability and their international rates. Unfortunately, those rates have increased to a point that there are other more competitive offers out there. Overall, if you are looking for reliability along with features, this is the one to choose. Customer service is great, and you always speak with someone in the U.S.!

8x8 Review:
DONT BE AFRAID..to sign up to Packet8. If you are new to VoIP or are not satisifed with your existing service provider, Packet8 could be a good one to consider. I have tried ViaTalk, Vonage, Lingo and now Packet8. I can assure you none of them is anywhere as bad as many of the reviews say they are. Perhaps some disappoint you from a customer service (particularly, tech support) aspect. But when it comes to ordering, setting up and service quality they are all at least in the same ball park. There is one basic requirement for a good VoIP experience - and that is a good broadband internet connection. If you don't have a reliable broadband internet connection, VoIP will not be reliable and good, no matter who says what. After reading some of the dreadful reviews on Packet8, I feel compelled to write about my absolutely positive experience with them. I ordered Packet8 service over the phone on Friday morning and expected the service to be up by the following Friday based on their 'promises'. But lo and behold, the equipment shows up on Monday PM, takes about 10 minutes to set it up - most of the time being unpacking, reading the manual (YES, RTFM!), and hooking up the adapter to my home network (that has 7 computers, 2 wireless access points, etc.). I get the dialtone within seconds.. and I have been up and running since. Not one glitch. Quality has been great. I have no hesitation to recommend them to anyone

Service is terriable. Phone always had echo. Usually when I dial nothing would happen. Customer service was so so. Horrible with billing issues. No value for what you are getting, especially with the price i am paying approx. $55 every month. I am changing as soon as I can.

I signed up with ITP for 24.95/month to find my credit card got charged 42.52 for the 2nd months service.
It seems to me they are scam artists like some other companies. It takes a google or someone large to take all these companies out of business because they deserve it
ITP SUCKS.
AGAIN ITP SUCKS
