PhonePower Review

PhonePower Provides Top-Quality Service and Reliability With an Unmatched 2-Year Service Deal

PhonePower's excellent call quality, prices, and customer satisfaction combine to give them a head up on most competitors. Their service has consistently received very high user reviews in the industry from current customers, and they rank as one of the main-stay providers in the VoIP market.

Low-cost monthly service is the number one reason for switching to VoIP, and PhonePower does not disappoint in this category. If you want to pay month-to-month without any contracts or obligations, you can try PhonePower for only $19.95/mo. With this plan, you can cancel anytime. But the best deals are for those who are willing to commit to longer-term plans. PhonePower is currently offering their service for $16.95/mo if you sign a 1-year contract, and only $14.95/mo if you sign up for 2 years. If you're willing to pay in advance, however, you can get 2 years of service for only $199.95, which comes out to only $8.33/mo. This is hands-down the best pricing available in the VoIP industry. PhonePower also offers a 30-day money back guarantee on all of their plans. Their pricing is upfront, and they show customers the full cost of their service before purchasing, including additional fees and taxes. Surprisingly, the taxes and fees come out to only an extra $2.50 - $3.00/mo on most plans. On top of all this, they recently added 60 minutes of free international calling per month with any of their plans.

PhonePower's service includes all of the features available through traditional phone providers, plus some additional features unique to them. Voicemail, Caller ID, Call Forwarding, Speed Dial, 3-Way Calling, Caller ID Blocking and other traditional services are included free. In addition, PhonePower offers unique features such as Simultaneous Ring (incoming calls ring on all of your phones), Find Me Follow Me (rings your home number first, then your work, cell, etc in the order you specify), Do Not Disturb, Voicemail sent to email, Click2Call (place a call using your computer), Caller ID Management (choose what information displays on other people's caller IDs when you call them), and On-Hold Music. You can transfer your existing phone number to PhonePower without any interruption of service, or assign yourself a new phone number in any U.S. area code.

PhonePower waives the $15 setup fee for any online orders, so the only startup cost is the $14.95 shipping and handling for your equipment. The equipment (a box that connects your normal phone to your broadband modem) is free, durable, well-designed, and very easy to install. If you have problems, their customer service is known as one of the most helpful in the industry and is available 7 days per week for extended hours. PhonePower is certainly an excellent choice for anyone looking to switch providers or start using VoIP for the first time.

PhonePower Review:

After reviewing few VOIP providedrs in my area I picked PhonePower based on website reviews, and great value. Before I opened my account I needed some question answered. I used e-mail communication and I'm happy to report that I got an answer not even 2 hours later with clear answers. Opening account on-line couldn't be any easier. After I rececived phone modem it took me less then 20 minutes to install it, following easy set up instructions from manual. That includes 10-15 minutes of first time modem initialization. So far I placed only one test phone call, but only from the dial tone sound, I could tell that it was strong and clear. It is worth mentioning that I use 10Mbits cable conection. Also my old phone number was transfered from phone company without any problem. I have chosen "no contract" plan, but if I'm happy with PhonePower, I'll switch to prepaid 2 year contract. So far I'm more than happy.

I have had Phonepower for about a month. I had some issues initially but once I made the adjustments on router (documentation on their website), I have not had a single issue. I have made dozens of calls. You can even receive faxes in your inbox. Great service and a great price.

PhonePower Review:

I had a Phonepower for about two and half years now. Before I pushed the button submit, I had them overall ranking on 4, but I said to myself. They screwed only once, so why should I be so hard on them and pushed 5. Technical support guys are just from another dimension. I have good knowledge of those stuff and I can tell that all of them are just in the right place with the right skills. To have a 1 or may be 2 problems and not a major one in a period of 2 and half years is just amazing. I am currently on their unlimited 1y commitment plan, with 2 lines. I have attached the device to a dedicated DSL line, so the quality and the service is great. To all others who are reading this review, please be advised that you need consistent traffic to support VoIP. You cant download 1GB file and expect the phone to work properly on your internet connection. So excellent job PHONEPOWER, keep the good work. I will also make a suggestion to the company for some coupons or discounts for long term customers. Show us some love, keeps us.

PhonePower Review:

I've had PhonePower for over a month. Originally, it was going to be a supplement (2nd line, fax, etc.) to my main AT&T line. A month later, my findings: 1- My 1st experience with VoIP, a few years ago, was less than stellar. PhonePower has completely turned that around. Sound quality is excellent. 2- No dropped calls, no interference, no buzzing, no intermittent sound effects, no sound issues at all. 3- Cost couldn't be more fair. I bought the adapter at Frys (which came with a travel adapter, headphones, and the main adapter itself), for $79. PhonePower refunded the entire cost, once I began the service. I went with the 2 year plan, for $199... that comes to @ $8.34/mo. for unlimited local and long distance (actually 5000 minutes -- however, that's unlimited as far as I'm concerned). 4- I found out *after* the fact, that I could "clone" my line, and effectively have two lines, both able to take and make calls simultaneously -- for free. 5- The web site is incredibly functional, intuitive, and everything works as promised. 6- I can get technical help ANYTIME of the day, ANY day of the week!! I open up a chat window on the site, and voila -- a real person, usually in under two minutes. (Try that with AT&T!). And, they actually know what they're doing, without tranferring you around a couple dozen times. AND, they speak the language -- go figure. All in all -- I couldn't be happier. Yesterday, I cancelled my AT&T landline service entirely. No reason to keep it... Way to go, PhonePower!

PhonePower Review:

After doing lots of research, I finally decided to go with PhonePower for my VoIP service. I was really tired of paying Verizon over $60 a month when we don't use the phone that much. I received the PhonePower equipment a couple of days after ordering and they had my phone number ported on the day I requested. The equipment was super easy to hook up and, so far, it's been working great. I did send Customer Service a couple of e-mails, which were answered very quickly. After cloning my number and rebooting the PhonePower box, I did lose my phone and internet (it just needed to rebooted again). I called Customer Support (they answered right away) and the tech rep was super nice and very helpful. He had me back online in a couple of minutes. It's only been a few days for me but, so far, I'm impressed and would recommend this service to anyone who's tired of paying too much for a land line with less than half of the features included with PhonePower. I subscribed to the year for $200 and the second year is free...$100 a year vs $60 a month is a no brainer.

PhonePower Review:

I have had Phone Power since 7/2009 and have never had a dropped call or anything. When doing heavy downloading I have had users on the other end complain of static but its still clear on my end. Not a major complaint though. I use phone power in tandem with my Verizon Fios and have no complaints. I left the VOIP market 2 years ago when I had poor quality, dropped calls and poor customer service with Vonage. I am glad Phone Power has a great network!

PhonePower Review:

PhonePower is the best VOIP around. I tried Vonage and VoiceWing (a Verizon offering that since went out of business). None come anywhere close to the voice quality, system reliability, economical cost, overall customer service, or their 24X7 US based technical support. After dealing with echo and noise on the line while talking with my brother half way across the country, I ultimately discovered the problem was entirely on his end and caused by Vonage. When he switched to PhonePower the problem disappeared and our voice quality has been perfect. This is hands down the VOIP provider to use. And by the way, comparing their under $10 per month charge with the bloated bills from the land line providers, it's a wonder any of them are still in business.

PhonePower Review:

I've had 6 different voip phone services to compare how each functions as to call drops, voice mail, time to transmit a call, 3 level entry of numbers (accts and P.words). all of them have varied levels of service, but for the price, Phone Power is Top of the Line. I will be dropping two very soon. my success is FIOS High Speed Interneet.zvz5
